TRINC's discharge needle has a long life. TRINC products have an easy maintenance such as one-touch cleaning and auto-cleaning, but sometimes users tend to forget to clean the needle. When the ionizer has been used for long time, discharge needle has come worn out and effectiveness of static elimination may reduce. The periodical exchange of needle is recommended.



As a material supply mode under the recent production engineering, a case of web-materials (such as films or sheets in the form of a roll) being supplied have become more frequent because of superior productivity and efficiency, and this trend tends to be further accelerated in the future. For example, starting with the field of liquid crystal TVs, in every field like lithium ion battery, solar cell, fuel cell, flexible substrate, container for foods, medicines and cosmetics, labeling-and-packing material and printing material, those materials have started to be used. As the raw materials for them, not only plastics but copper/aluminum foils and iron are applied. However, because of the wider the surface these film and sheet have, more dust tends to adhere to them due to electrostatic action. As a result the dust adhesion problem has come under close scrutiny in every field. The method used on the conventional film cleaner to clean the dust adhering on them is such as to apply first a tension to the work (film or sheet) using rollers, next to blow off dust using an air knife and finally to remove static using ionizers. But this system has failed to get the sufficient effect in cleaning microscopic dust. To cope with this, TRINC has newly developed a basic construction and released "FILM TRINC" to solve the conventional problems.

A cleaning rate (performance of dust-removing) is beyond largely the capability (10 to 50%) of the conventional system.

Since no roller is used, the film processed inside the system never touches anything. This prevents dust from being transferred to the film and makes the roller maintenance unnecessary.

The cleaning head operates keeping a slight distance from the work and focusing it from different angles, so that the work even with a bit uneven surface can be cleaned. For example, the TAB tape mounted with IC chips can be cleaned.

No such a roller as used on the conventional film cleaner to restrain from behind the pressure of the air knife is required at all. So, the maintenance of rollers needed otherwise to keep the high precision job is also not required.

In the fields of not only the organic EL and liquid crystal attracting attention these days but also the lithium ion battery, the medicine and the food, the film/sheet materials are in heavy usage. But the film/sheet materials are likely to get charged with static leading to more dust attachment, which eventually makes products defective and lets associated factories face a big problem. To respond this problem, TRINC has already released the “FILM TRINC” based on a new theory and structure, and have innovated it again to be compact, convenient and economic as against the conventional film cleaner as more and less cleaning equipment. The product marketed this time, however, has been developed further into compact to as thin as 1/6 the previous. That is to say, the conventional equipment type has been changed firstly to a “compact unit type,” and changed again this time to be a ”component type.” Because it has been made compact to the utmost limit, it can be installed into the narrowest gaps making it possible to add on the existing equipment without any modification. The dust-removing rate, the essential anti-dust performance, reaches to over 90% beyond the conventional 10 to 50%. TRINC has developed a next generation “ FILM TRINC (THIN type) equipped with high-performance, ultra-compact, convenience, and economical efficiencies.

The device has been made as shin as 1/6 the conventional, viz. from 240mm to 40mm. So it can be installed into the narrowest gaps made on film processing machine.

Conventional film cleaners are targeted for film widths of about 500 mm to 3000 mm. However, a narrower film appeared recently, and even a film with a width of 6 mm at the minimum appeared. In reality, this has to be a matter of the field of tape rather than film. This FILM TRINC-MICRO is responsible for cleaning narrow tape-shaped film of 6 mm to 10 mm width. Principal use is targeted for a removal of the foreign materials adhering to positive and negative electrodes and a separator for capacitors and lithium ion batteries as immediate needs, but it can also be used for the purpose of removing foreign materials on superconducting electric wires used for electromagnets on the new linear bullet train. TRINC prays for contributing to solving foreign material problems of everyone who needs cleaning of ultra-narrow film in every direction.

An adhesion phenomenon of foreign substances is remarkable in the case of resin, but they adhere in the same way even on conductors. Despite the fact that no static electricity takes place on the conductor, the foreign matter adhere relentlessly through the electrostatic induction phenomenon. Strangely, however, until now there have been no measures available to remove foreign substances attached to these metals. The reason for this is that foreign matter adhering to conductors are not easy to remove in principle. TRINC has developed “METAL FILM TRINC” that solves this problem.

Due to the widespread of the new coronavirus, masks are in short supply not only in Japan but around the world due to urgent demand. Non-woven and woven fabrics are widely used for many hygiene and medical products such as masks, bandages, adhesive plasters, and so forth. In the manufacturing and use process, foreign matter adhering to the product or getting into the inside of the product causes serious hygiene problems. On the other hand, foreign matter adhering on the finished product is not desirable in terms of appearance. From above reasons, several attempts using air blow to remove foreign matter from the products and material have been done at manufacturing sites. However, since the foreign matter is pushed further into the cloths with air blow, it has been impossible to remove them from the non-woven and woven cloths. After all, since there has been no definitive solution, foreign matter has been removed by picking it one by one with tweezers, etc. To solve this problem, TRINC has developed a technology that automatically removes foreign matter without using conventional air-blow method. High foreign-matter removal performance
A high dust-removal ratio is achieved by the new dust-removal principle without air blow and powerful measures against static electricity.
Air blow is generally used to remove foreign matter adhering to the surface of an object. However, the conventional air blow cannot be used to remove foreign matter adhering to the surface or getting into inside of non-woven and woven fabrics. This is because the air blow pushes the foreign matter further inside. This time, we have developed a new principle without air blow.

Feature 2

No-blow operation
Unlike conventional measures, this device does not need air blow or fan blow. Since foreign matter adhering to fabric is removed without wind, no foreign matter is pushed into the inside. In addition, the non-woven and woven fabrics made of a light and flexible material are not blown off with wind.

Feature 3

Countermeasure against static electricity
Woven and non-woven fabrics made of chemical fibers tend to be charged with static electricity. Since this electrostatic attracts foreign matter strongly, it is difficult to remove adhering foreign matter on them. In contrast, powerful ionizers equipped inside these devices neutralize static electricity completely, so foreign matter adhering to cloth due static electricity is removed with high removal rate.

Feature 4

Prevention of electric shock
At the manufacturing and processing sites of non-woven and woven fabrics, sparks (electric discharge) from the charged fabrics toward the worker are annoying problem. Countermeasure against static electricity using these devices prevents electric shock.
